Belonging to the family Arecaeae, Rhapis are also known as Lady Palms. They are native to Southern parts of Asia, Japan and China. They are shade-tolerant plants. They are a genus of small palms and can be used to decorate office spaces, homes etc. These plants also purify air to some extent and some genera are also known to purify pollutants like Benzene, Formaldehyde etc from the air.
